MJT Stratocaster SLIMER Finished Pg. 3

Post by HNB » Mon Oct 08, 2018 5:53 pm

I got this MJT Stratocaster on eBay. I have wanted a color over burst finish guitar for awhile. I am pretty excited to work on it. Going to put single size humbuckers in it and likely a black aluminum guard. For now, this is what I've got. :)

That's actually pretty awesome looking Chris!! I clicked the thread because I was wondering if you were doing a Ghostbusters-themed guitar. You could at least put a Slimer sticker on there somewhere ;D

LOL That would be pretty funny. I might put one on the headstock decal. :)

Too bad the pg will cover most of the green. Angry Stay Puff Marshmallow Man knobs would be cool.

For the green to be ectoplasm, I think the fact that most of it is behind the guard is perfect! It'll look like the green is oozing out from behind! Love the knob idea too!

I take it back! Instead of a Slimer sticker, you should do the headstock decal like their uniform name tag patches:

Oh man, I usually hate relics, but I'm drawn to these relics over burst.

You're Killin me with this crap.
The purple guitar, and now this. I'm finally content with the couple guitars I have, and now i'm back to cruising ebay every day, pricing mjt stuff.

(Christopher, also)
I've been to one World's Fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing i ever heard come out a pair of headphones.

LOL Welcome to my world..... I have MJT as a saved search on Reverb so it lets me know when new bodies pop up.....

I got these stickers for it. I will probably just use one. They are nice and small. :D

I decided to order a gold pickguard. The paisley green and sunburst was too busy. I also ordered rail pickups and a tbx pot. :)

Neck came and I painted the headstock black. You can see it drying on my super pro dry rack. ;) (The small headstock one. Big one is for my Jazzblaster.)
