NGD: Epiphone Casino Coupe w/ Mods
I wanted a reasonably inexpensive fully hollow thinline guitar for business/family trips and settled on the Epiphone Casino Coupe.
I added a Bigsby B30, stained the interior of the F-holes black, and installed 2 Gibson mini humbuckers. Setup with 12 gauge D'Addario Chromes. This little thing is a beast! It gives my Gibson ES-446s' a run for their money. Epiphone has really come a long way. The quality of this thing is mind-numbingly impressive. The fretwork is also insanely impressive. When I first got it from Sweetwater, the action was laughably high. The frets were initially a little rough, but some simple steel wool took care of that. I was able to restring it with 12's, adjust the neck, and now I'm in disbelief at how good it plays.

Goddamn it! I recently had a minor flash in my brain that said "it would be nice to have a casino" and now I'm seeing great ones EVERYWHERE. That one looks especially lovely.
