You could perhaps do a compromise? I saw somewhere here that you’ve built some Warmoths.
You could get one of their Gibson scale conversion necks. They fit your regular 25,5” scale body(ies?), like your Tele, without the need for modification. That way you’ll get a somewhat shorter scale guitar (24,75”) but you wouldn’t need to buy a complete guitar.

I definitely don't want to convert what I've already got. I like the idea of building a 24" scale guitar, but my Tele is perfect as is I like variety!

I built one a while ago....Not a true 7/8 though....Full size thinline Tele cabronita body with vintage Mustang 22 1/2" scale neck. It still looks small compared to the 24" scale Duosonic next to it.

What are those tuners on the Duosonic?

Re: 7/8th's Sized Guitars
The Duosonic tuners are Steinberger. And, the tuners on the Tele thinline are also Steinbergers, a newer style lock knob that was available toward the end. At one time, Stewart MacDonald bought a big stock of them from Gibson, after they'd bought Steinberger. I used to use them on all my builds. Unfortunately, StewMac has no more, and there doesn't seem to be a way to get a set, other than buying a new Gibson Firebird. It's too bad, because the tuners were head-and-shoulders better than anything else on the market......They're 40:1 ratio, gearless, locking tuners. Stew Mac used to set them for 100.00/set. These days, used ones command 200.00-300.00, and if you find a new set on eBay, the seller'll be asking 300.00-500.00. Here's a set that was on Reverb, that sold a couple of years ago for 366.00.

Re: 7/8th's Sized Guitars
How all this is familiar
At the moment I teach my son to ukulele, I bought him Kmise KMU30B. I was happier than he was when Adam said that he likes to study the guitar, now we spend every day together to learn how to play.
Of course, these are dreams, but in the future, I want to play with him at least 1 song in front of a large audience at a concert.
