Got A Danocater
I bought it used a few months ago, but forgot to post.

Best guitar I've ever owned. I've played vintage 60 jazzmasteres and jaguars and this guitar beats them.
What I love is the "mongrel" pickup configuration. I was craving a humbuckers but can't stand Gibsons tuning instability, and never liked the overly twangy bridge pickup on teles, so this is a perfect hybrid.

I'd play that! Potentially stupid question, but what is a "mongrel" pick up configuration? P90/Humbucker? If so, that is definitely one of my favorites, I have that in my Univox.

I guess "mongrel" just means something out of the ordinary, because usually you get matching pickup types with Fender and Gibson.

Re: Got A Danocater
Good call on Neil Young.
I've seen "Mongrel" on the Danos that have two P90s in Teles and also this config of a P90 with a humbucker.
Thanks, dudes. I'm not a fan of black, but felt it worked on this one with the silver P90 for contrast and zebra humbucker to bring it all together. The V neck on the danos is amazing.
