Johnny's Tele has a BRASS guard (and other brass parts - very common back then as aftermarket options).
That wasn't one of Pete's. Johnny had other guitars from Pete though.

They're out there...every now and then I see some old Schecter Brass stuff still in the original packaging/on the original card show up!
