* it disappoints me that sunburst finishes are often discussed in unfavourable terms on guitar forums. I think it’s a classic look.

Nothing constructive to add, just wanted to say that’s a beautiful axe. I got into guitars in the mid-‘80s, and there were a few of those floating around my town. As a young Strat fan, I developed a love for them that has not faded.
