I’m a Strat-lover, and a sunburst-lover*, so this is right up my alley. Bloody beautiful!
Cheers!
J.
* it disappoints me that sunburst finishes are often discussed in unfavourable terms on guitar forums. I think it’s a classic look.

Can't wait for the stickers and hastily done rattlecan backyard refin!

Nothing constructive to add, just wanted to say that’s a beautiful axe. I got into guitars in the mid-‘80s, and there were a few of those floating around my town. As a young Strat fan, I developed a love for them that has not faded.

Well, it's hers now, she loves it, and my brother gave her a sweet little Vox Pathfinder 10 to go with it. Feels like the right place for it to go.

I've wanted one of those for about fifteen years but the prices really went through the roof. There was a thread years ago on the FDP. Guy was driving through his neighborhood and saw a guitar sticking out of a garbage can. He posted pics and it was a freaking first run JV Squier. Needless to say he was very happy with his "Does anyone know what model this guitar is" thread.

I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.

Update: pretty much every day she quietly says “I *love* my guitar.”
