I now realize what my lasting contribution to this site is going to be, my proximity to that rug that time. But yes, that was three years ago!

Not a Tele! The two I have are so good and so specialize at this point that it would be a drag getting one to at all be something I would play compared to those.

That's a great guess, and that was the original plan, but I couldn't put it together, and I'd reconciled myself to just keeping the M2 which is a nice guitar. Then I had a glass of Rebel Yell bourbon or two (which I heartily recommend) and then I reached out about this trade and it was accepted.

No, not yet. I still have my Firebirds, they aren't going anywhere. This guitar replaces the two others of this model that I had and don't have anymore. One had a busted truss rod and it pained me to have to return it but I did, I had another of these and had to sell it due to an unforeseen bill popping up (that really should not have been unforeseen).

That's what'll be heading my way. I was sad that I had to return my first Bullet due to truss rod issues, and liquidate my other one although it was a single Humbucker version and didn't sound what you would call "good".

But I love the way they play. Great necks on them that I've seen. There's a wide variety with them, I had one that seemed to have a 12" radius on it, so they seem to be all over the place. But they do seem to have wide nuts on them and a slim profile which means more to me than radius does.
