Hey! Haven't posted here in far too long.
Just wanted to say ADH's Stratele is still in the family. I've had a thing for it ever since I saw the build thread years back (I looked but couldn't find it), so I'm pretty stoked! It's gonna take a bit to get it up and fully functioning, but here's what she looks like now...

And...it's all done! It feels very different to anything else I have (it's taking some getting used to), but it sounds phenomenal. Like, jaw-droppingly good.

I'd post a pic, but the jerks over at Photobucket won't let me >:(

Ha, thanks! The sound is literally the best thing about it. I took the neck, pickups and harness from another Tele, and this kills it sonically. I don't know whether it's the wood or the Bigsby, but it sounds great! Still getting used to the way it plays though.

It's funny, between this and my blue Strat, I've completely swung from thinking the pickups were the most important factor in the way a guitar sounds to thinking it's the body, neck and hardware. I replaced pickups in the blue Strat a million times, and could never get what I wanted. Then I replaced the saddles and trem block with new ones from Callaham, and BOOM! With this one the body and the bridge change, and it's the same thing...
