So, the shoes, the fucking Paul Reed Smith Strat, the blooze face, combined with the trenchcoat and liberally spiced with everything I've ever heard this person say makes this the most douchebag photograph I've ever seen.

Yeah he's the ultimate asshole.

However, what I'm more interested in is what Paul Reed Smith will have to say about this guitar... Looking forward to the bullshit stories he's gonna come up with.

well i've seen PRS in some interview and he seemed like a total idiot. but then again i've been struggling with mental health and i know to relate somehow. it still might be that PRS is a great guy. making great guitars for great guys. make GTRSGRTAGAIN.

He always plays strats, and has a signature strat, so I'm not surprised his PRS is...a strat.

Although probably not the intention of this thread, I happen to like John Mayer (well his playing is great and I enjoy one of his albums, anyhow) and I respect Paul Reed Smith. Hopefully this is just a one off to stick it in Fender's face. Otherwise, odd move.

Also, I heard JM is getting a JHS signature pedal... :shifty:

I'm a bit dissapointed by this. I've met Paul a few times in person and heard him speak about guitars, and I wouldn't have thought he would stoop to sticking a PRS neck on a Strat body, which is exactly what this looks like. It seems to offer nothing that a regular Strat doesn't already have, unless you really want goofy bird inlays and a weird headstock.
