Every single set neck guitar I've seen that has even a few years of age on it tends to wear in that area first. And to be fair, those pictures do make it look worse than it is, you're not going to notice unless you look for it.Despot wrote:

That neck joint is pretty typical for Gibson quality these days.

The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

Faber has a 20% off sale starting tomorrow, if you are at all interested in anything I've recommended above. No big deal, I just thought I'd pass it on.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Nice... the SG looks cool in blue, I have a couple of SG's but the blue one isn't a gibson...

Pelham blue on an SG is the absolute nuts. I'm lucky enough to have a '64 in that colour. It's an old refin, but that's what made it affordable (win!).
It's nice to be important, but it's important to be nice.

Damn that's pretty^^^^
I had a '64 refin just like that - but cherry red rather than PB. It was a great guitar (I loved the neck profile - slim, but not so slim as to feel totally flat across the back).

Holy fuck! Love it... I always kick myself for selling my SG Melody Maker in pelham blue (original). It was a bit beat but had an incredible neck.Mclean wrote:Pelham blue on an SG is the absolute nuts. I'm lucky enough to have a '64 in that colour.
