Every single set neck guitar I've seen that has even a few years of age on it tends to wear in that area first. And to be fair, those pictures do make it look worse than it is, you're not going to notice unless you look for it.

That neck joint is pretty typical for Gibson quality these days.

Sweet guit. Pelham is awesome.

The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

Faber has a 20% off sale starting tomorrow, if you are at all interested in anything I've recommended above. No big deal, I just thought I'd pass it on.

Nice... the SG looks cool in blue, I have a couple of SG's but the blue one isn't a gibson...

Pelham blue on an SG is the absolute nuts. I'm lucky enough to have a '64 in that colour. It's an old refin, but that's what made it affordable (win!).

Damn that's pretty^^^^

I had a '64 refin just like that - but cherry red rather than PB. It was a great guitar (I loved the neck profile - slim, but not so slim as to feel totally flat across the back).

Holy fuck! Love it... I always kick myself for selling my SG Melody Maker in pelham blue (original). It was a bit beat but had an incredible neck.
