By far one of the nicest quality (build, finish, etc) guitars I've ever had. It sounded fantastic plugged in, but it didn't really fit in my band mix. Unfortunately, I couldn't hold on to it for just looking pretty on the wall. Definitely a really cool guitar.

I'd likely have a CB model like that by now if it weren't for the sheer weight of the beasts. How does yours fare?
It weights 4.2 kilogramm... without the bigsby

Man, those duo's with dynasonics look so cool. Gretsch ruins so many of them with the harrison signature, black painted sides and back looks so much worse.

Ouch, that sounds about right! At least the 16" wide lower bout can offset the weight (in your brain) if one thinks about it hard enoughBeef Bonanza wrote:starflower wrote:Aye, nice work dropping the B70!

Man, dynasonics are in a league of their own. By all rights, I SHOULD put them in my Gretsch for vintage accuracy, but the TV Classics it came with are just too wicked to part with.
Since you said "show me your Gretsches", here's mine. Wanted one for as long as I can remember. Not just non-Offset waist...it's non-waist, period!
