What's your favourite hollow body electric?

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

Man ... that's one sweet guitar! Glad it's working out for you.
It sure is, a `68/`69. It`s a great guitar, quite chunky neck as well. Wired as a 335.

I also got an old abr-1 from a mate, just waiting for some conversion posts from Tonepros.

Will post a new thread about it eventually ;D

That's the Yamaha Troy Van Lewin (sp?) model. They look pretty sweet but I've never played one.

A guy in a band that an old band of mine played a few shows with in 2014-2015 had one of these in black....and I thought it was one of the coolest semis I'd ever seen.

I've played a few of these and they were amazing. Yamaha is really really good these days and it seems the more models I try the better they get. Yamahas have always been decent, but now they're really fucking good.

Had a great night of fine food, good whisky, almost-full moonlit nocturnal deep snow dogwalking, and trick fun noisemaking at my friend's farmhouse last night. He'd recently picked up this Custom Shop White Falcon on a trip to New York, so I took my beloved MIJ semi and my 'clean' pedal selection round to see how they paired up.

I think a White Falcon is about the only guitar that can shrug off the handicap of gold hardware, but I have to say the knob adornment on this one seems unnecessarily gaudy. 'Needs tort' fans may dig the freaky binding; I liked the Hagstromesque deco machine heads best, personally. Plus I'm a sucker for that quintessential '70s must-have mod, the brass top nut.

It's undoubtedly a nice guitar by most people's standards, but I'm still content with my 335 copy which cost me about a 30th of what this beast did. Took a few (crappy mobile phone) pictures this morning and this seems like the best thread to share them in:
