I have a Stagg electro acoustic, which is OK but the string tension is WAY too high. Does anyone now if anyones ever made an offset acoustic?

Well, allmost offset. The waist seems symmetrical, but the butt...

Anyone remember in 1995, Peavey came out with an acoustic with a trem system on it.  I wish I had a picture of the ad for it, it was pretty surreal seeing an acoustic with a whammy bar sticking out the top.  I've always been sorta curious about that model.

Martin made an acoustic with a Bigsby on it as well, I always thought that was curious.

If you put too much tension on the trem wouldn't it snap the soundboard realy easily?

I've got a nice J-200, which is the ultimate acoustic as far as I'm concerned-a real cannon.  That being said, I will grab my cheap-o early 80s Yamaha FG-330 or whatever it's called more often than the Gibbo.  The Yamaha was impossible to play and sounded average at best when I got it.  20 years later, it's really "opened up".  I picked it up about five years ago after it had been sitting in a corner, neglected, for years.  Even with the dead strings on it, it sounded fantastic.
