Non reverse firebird vs Eastwood Stormbird
Tried to get as front as possible from the look of it besides the Headstock which would have to add wood to the left horn (nonhorn?)has a slightly different shape/maybe the right one as well and the pickguard if different, and the input jack
anything you guys are seeing in these pictures as well.
This might be a cool mod for someone I'm thinking about it.... anythoughts if its worth trying or what I should look for

Well, besides the obvious headstock, the Horns on the Eastwood body look different (more pronounced?) and the lower but has a different rounding as well.
I've seen one of those "Stormbirds" just last week-end and it looked quiet alright to me. Though opinions regarding the overall quality of eastwood guitars seam to vary quiet a lot.

Re: Non reverse firebird vs Eastwood Stormbird
I saw one on the bay it looked really nice but the color was a see-through cherry almost sg like, which is not on the eastwood website.
Besides Harvest Guitars, Eastwood and Gould (the impossible to find) is there any other builders that makes a Non-reverse Firebird style
Greco, Tokai, Burny, and Orville made one only reverse Firebirds which is a shame.
GASing pretty bad over here.

IIRC, Harvest guitars are done by someone on here. He's got a "Junior" model that is insanely good looking.

Re: Non reverse firebird vs Eastwood Stormbird
I found another forum that someone made the nrfb but they got it with the 3 p90s, but I do not see that option
neck pocket seems good to go with any standard fender which means warmoth could make a neck for a firebird
Personally I am really thinking about this.

If you check the pickup options, they say you can do P-90s, but it's not shown.

hey ... yep that's a keeper, it's my main gigging guitar for when i want to make a lot of noise and wig out with a bigsby ( which is quite often )YES!! I just got a reply from him today thanks valley for the heads up
there'll be a new one to show you all soon, i get back to spraying some finished products next week !
i have another junior ready to paint and i'm designing a new guard for it, sort of like a juniorized NRFB guard in white - the SG kind of one was good for this ( should have been painted cherry red, and what was i on with those chrome screws ?? this was about 4 years ago, my first sunburst ) but i want more of a 'Gumby Gibson' vibe on this one - trying to decide on a colour, maybe Inverness Green - ish maybe even yellowed and relic'd ??
cheers, AP
