NGD- the herd is culled and the Esquire is in chambers!

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

NGD- the herd is culled and the Esquire is in chambers!

Post by Maggieo » Wed Sep 16, 2020 9:27 am

I've got a couple of guitars that have passed the one-year mark of not being played more than a couple of times. There's some pedals that aren't part of my thing anymore; along with the big-ass Pedaltrain board, I got when I thought this party band thing was going to go.

They're collecting dust and I'm all about whittling down my collection to just the good stuff.

So, say goodbye to my LP Studio, my Edwards Jeff Beck Tele-Gib, an EHX Good Vibes, and the Caroline Megabyte Lo-Fi delay (turns out the Kilobyte is the better-sounding unit).

Off they go, and a limited-edition electric guitar will be replacing them in the scuderia.

Should we do the guessing game?

Tweedy SG?? :w00t:
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

^ good call. I'll go out on a limb and guess Rickenbacker Tom Petty (although they are silly $ nowadays)

I think the one-year mark for not using something more than a handful of times is a good one. Not to go all Marie Kondo (who obviously simply does not like stuff) on it, but it is good to ask: am I enjoying this sound generator? Will I feel differently in the future? Would someone enjoy it more? (no, no, yes = time to say goodbye).

Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

I'm gonna guess it's another guitar that I haven't heard of but am instantly impressed by, photographed beautifully.
The artist formerly known as mbene085.

I'd like to think it's a vintage hollow-body (or semi if we're getting into specifics).

I kind of want a semi-hollow Vela, but they're thin on the ground.
