The body arrived and is pretty much butterscotch, not white at all. It is going to make this guitar look more like an Airline guitar with the color body and white headstock. :D Very pretty wear and wood grain. The parts seem to all fit just fine.

That color scheme is going to look great.

Parts came today. Bridge and pickguard so I was able to get a bunch of parts loaded up. First was the bridge and claw.

Then I put the Lace Gold pickups in the eight hole pickguard. I put in the pots and switch also.

(You might have noticed it has a black pickguard now. I thought the colors would work better with an all maple neck I have coming in for it. Kind of tele color schemed now.)

Did the wiring. It all went smooth. I used an import style switch with the pcb and it worked well. It is a bit shorter so the tabs don't bottom out on the shielding. That did mean my switch tip didn't fit so I am staining the one that came with the switch. It wired up pretty well. Just waiting on the neck now.

Neck came and is pretty good. Some fret divots and a couple scratches on the back, but nothing that bugged me when playing. The tuners are pretty nice. Got it all put together. With these springs, four was too many to get floating with the bridge to I dropped down to three. The Lace Gold pickups are pretty amazing. I am glad I went with the suggestion to use 500k pots. It sounds like... a strat. (But no noise!!) I think these might be underrated. I can easily see why Clapton and others used them in their strats for a time. They sound excellent. Here are the pictures! :)

Chris, that is dead sexy!! I feel like I should have at this point, but I don't ever remember seeing a blonde/butterscotch with black guard, and that combo is PERFECT!

I don't normally see butterscotch strats, just telecasters. :D
