Any progress on your Jag Sean?
sadly not. it's still number 1 on the list of project guitars i've got but im moving soon so money has been funneled elsewhere. plus half my guitars/tools/parts are in storage right now. safe to say the project list has got longer since my 2 strat's did not survive storage too well. granted they were both ply bodies i got for free but still. i now have an extra 2 necks kicking about. so at the moment the build list looks like this

christian (this jag)
yanderemaster (taking the neck from my baritone strat and sticking it on a pink jazzmaster body)
minene (blue/black jazzmaster special with bigsby)
another jazzmaster (uses the maple neck from my old yellow strat thinking black with gold anodized guard)
yuki (a belinda stang build from one of those harley bentons with a set of lipstick humbuckers and repainted black over white)

there is a few in the planning stage atm too. this is why i should not have time to myself

Preaching to the choir buddy. When I have gree time, I start thinking of ways to best spend money, and thats a problem. Haha. I LOVE your idea of a baritone JM :w00t:

GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY. the jaguar is now fully painted. i wanted to leave the grain open because it's a really nice grain. so rather than get too drunk at new years. i painted the guitar at my friends house.
Image
so as mentioned, it's white base coat with the grain still showing.
Image
i was curious to see if the pickguard looked right with the white.... not my thing
Image
then came the black paint...... you see what i mean by the grain.

the whole guitar.
