Those are looking good. I sure hope you build both.

Re: Cross Guitars - projects and restorations
If you build the top one, I hope you've got a template for the Epiphone batwing headstock

Right? It's made to be! The batwing was awesome, but never had a body that matched aesthetic style...CROSS_guitars wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 7:23 amOh wow. I hadn't considered that. Re: Cross Guitars - projects and restorations
I really dig both but I like this one the most. I agree with Shadoweclipse13 about the batwing headstock. That would look great. I would also dig Firebird pickups in it.
We are merely moving shadows.

Re: Cross Guitars - projects and restorations
Overall, it looks good. For visual balance, I'd add a little more to the lower side of the heel of the body.
The headstock looks good. How would it look if you put the point of the batwing off center one way or the other and have it stick out slightly more to match or compliment the lines of the body?

This is crudely done and you can certainly improve on the ideas but this shows what I mean.

Great design. Batwing headstock certainly fits well.

I also came up with this design a while ago which could work.
