I also came up with this design a while ago which could work.
Ignoring the swoop bit

This is more rounded, like the body. It should work nicely. Have you considered a 1/4" (or less) roundover on the headstock? that would also help to tie it together.

I think a smallish bevel on the headstock could work.

Tasmanian Blackwood.

This is a re-work of a guitar I made in 2003.

Thanks.
Still trying to decide if I should pop some switches in the top cavity for coil splitting options.

You could alternatively use push/pull pots.

Damn Cross, this is incredible!! I love the XII-esque headstock, but "backwards" from the way Fender would do it. The body is gorgeous! Also really love your headstock logo!! Very classy 8)

Your headstock logo is incredible, rare to see something original that works so well as a logo style.

I love the headstock and the way the logo works with it. In fact, I love everything on that guitar - except the bridge, I feel like it doesn't fit with the aesthetics of everything else.

Not sure what other bridge options would work with it. I do totally agree with you. I just ended up sticking with it because the sustain is really good.

It's a typical import tremolo. I think it's the same as the Japanese Fender ones, which are a bit more narrow for some reason.
The bridge is a tune o matic with nashville studs. Pretty perfect combo. stays in tune and doesn't pop off the saddles.
Going back to this one...Did you file the saddles down to match the tighter neck radius, or did you go for 12" on the neck itself? And is the friction of the strings on the saddles an issue?
I'm considering this very option for one of my builds...A look on the internet about the TOM + trem combination only confused me, every new piece of information I found seemed to contradict the previous one :)

Nah, I left the bridge as it was.
The neck is 9.5" radius and I guess the bridge is 12" but it works really well that way.
I have a Jmascis Squier and I quite like that setup too. It just feels way more solid.
I haven't had any tuning issues.

Thanks! The OSG community strikes me as more reliable with this type of information, since we spend time battling against the rattling, the jumping strings and the tuning issues :)

That Tassie red oak looks great (a type of Eucalyptus is I remember right?), I like the Electric XII/Firebird vibes going on there!

Thanks,
It's actually made of Tasmanian blackwood.

regarding the bridge query. It helps having the tremolo much closer to the bridge. The break angle is a lot sharper that way. Otherwise it will pop off the saddles. I only consider using TOM style bridges if the tremolo is much closer to the bridge than on vintage JM's/Jags
