anyone want to finish this project?
found this today: http://muziek.2dehands.be/markt/muz_ins ... aguar.html
body apparently came from an accurate copy from the early 60's, he doesn't say anything about the pickups, I wonder what they are.

Looks like 2 tele necks to me
Times change. Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky? Now it grows hair! We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

He means the pickups. They look like tele neck pups. I would assume they were trying to go lipsticks like Verlaine.Sauerkraut wrote:really?FireAarro wrote: Looks like 2 tele necks to me

Re: anyone want to finish this project?
Those are not Tele neck pickups as they are the width of a Strat/Jag.
Gonads are useful for their purpose, but are NO substitute for brains.

That looks like that body that was on the same (or a similar) site. It has a HUGE swimming pool route. There's a link somewhere in the forum, it was just the body. I joked it was an "ocean route".
It could be a serviceman's body with a Tesico neck and pickups. I've seen those noisemakers before in a cheesy MIJ 60s machine.
I'll look for that link, to see if it's the same body..... :-\
EDIT: That IS it! LOL! They were trying to sell it separately at one time. I'll bet it's light!
