I've been looking for more sources for single pickup MM guards (1968 style). That would be killer.

You could get some very cheap/easy faux blue ano with one of the raw aluminum guards and some blue dyechem

Does it still have the small/subtle ridges/texture like most anodizing does?

Have any pictures of one of the clear anodized guards? I'm thinking that a vintage-yellowed Firemist silver with clear anodized guard would look KILLER.
