Yes. Just rout out the middle bit and jam another pickup in.
Times change. Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky? Now it grows hair! We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

if you keep the JM guard, you'll have the volume hole that stays un-used

The main problem is the switchplate, which has nowhere to screw into. You could mount some wood blocks in.

Green Angel put a Jaguar rythm plate on one of his Jazzmaster
he said it was hard to fit, he had to change the bracket if I remember...
try to PM him
for the jack, vol and tone plate I think it will fit.

Re: Can i do this ?
The lower lead pot (tone) seems to go a little tight in that routing - maybe if you use a mini pot It'll go.
Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

Re: Can i do this ?
the upper screw of the volume plate and the bottom screw of the scratch will aslo be where there's not wood under
The'Burbz from shortscale.org had to add a piece of wood to be able to screw them:
the whole story >here<
