hi all
i'm not up on this subject,
in my job they use "cellulose" paint to spray signage
thats all I know about it, its called cellulose,
its supplied by a car paint supplier and is cut with thinners
for the spraying, the stuff we spray is keyed down and primed first
would this be okay for guitars?
could I use it straight on the wood for transparent finishes?
regards

Re: cellulose paint
I don't want to pimp out another site, but you might want to check out the guitar reranch about that, the board there should have your answers and they got step by step guides on using the paint.

Re: cellulose paint
I'd say if you think it would make a cool guitar finish, use it. Cellulose is what you want, it's just a matter of how it's applied.

Re: cellulose paint
thanks guys,
i still have not found out much about the paint specs.
I have sprayed a bike before with it, in a really heavy sparkle
you can see where im going...the purple the jmjm should have been!
i was thinking that i could gear the paint mix to be fragile
and get some nice accelerated natural arm wear on my 2007, cheater!!
