telemaster wiring question..

Post by brianjdc » Mon Jan 17, 2011 7:11 pm

so i've been thinking about a modified telemaster wiring setup and would like your input on it.i was thinking a standard tele bridge pup with a widerange in the neck. putting a standard jaguar switch plate on the guard. 2 switches for the pickups on and off. third switch set up for strangle. run those wires to the tele control plate which will have a three way switch set up for the esquire modes. what do you guys think? i think it would give a ton of tonal variation

There's a neat switching scheme I found the other day that you can do with the Jaguar-style switching - instead of having a position where both pickups are off, that can be turned into a both-in-series setting instead, which could be useful.
So I pretend there aren't ten strings tied to all ten of my fingers.
