Pickguardian tortoise shell guards.

Post by hobb_masta_flex » Sun May 13, 2007 2:50 pm

Alright, so I've heard a bunch of mention about the Pickguardian on the forums, and it seems like it has been a great resource for a lot of your projects out there. Well, I've come to a point with my Jazz Bass that I definitely need to upgrade my pickguard. I've been playing it for a few months now, and the only finishing touch I need is that guard... tortoise looks so great with Olympic White, but the Japanese guard that I have isn't great... the shape's not even right! So, would a Pickguardian one be a major upgrade, and would it be worth the price? I'd imagine that those guards are made from much better materials, too. Have you guys been happy with their tortoise shells?

IMO, from pictures I've seen in the internet, they still don't look like the real thing.
Times change.  Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky?  Now it grows hair!  We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger
