yes, the 6g15 i pieced together based on the triode kit parts list, and the fender schematic. blue circuit boards from watts tube audio before he got weird, classic tone transformers and choke, mallory and some other high end caps in the filter section. went through three dif verb pans before settling on a new acutronics. Mod pans have poor QC

6g2 head parts list I put together based on fender's OG schematic, some values are not perfect and voltages are a touch high. I lucked out and bought a 6g2 steel repro chassis off ebay i think. classic tone xformers again and blue circuit boards.

the 6g4-A was a dumb idea. it's my dream amp, but finding the right chassis is going to be tough and the main board layout isn't great, i just blew up fender's layout and did my best to match. more classic tone iron (affordable, made in the US) and almost enough leftover caps, tubes, and pots from all my previous builds.

i'm a total hack at amps. i'm also cheap, or i'd just buy them.

That's awesome. I've been dying for a Fender amp, and am strongly considering building my own. There's a part of me that wants to use turret boards as opposed to PCBs, but I'm not sure that the difference would be worth the hassle. And I do woodworking, so I could build my own combo cabinet as well. I think it would be a really fun project. I'm glad to see that there are a few people around here that are doing it.

i am 1000% behind this. i absolutely love woodworking and building furniture, but don't currently have access to a shop.

many of fender's amps are easy. the champ was easier than any pedal i've attempted to build, or any rack mounted audio device i've had to repair at work. turret boards have so much space on them, and they're the most aesthetically pleasing way to lay out a circuit to me.

depending on the fender amp you want, it may be cheaper just to buy a used one and take it to a tech. or pick up a kit. i haven't factored in my time on any of these projects, but parts have come in under $400 for each one. building is amazing as long as you keep your wits about you and know how to safely test and troubleshoot.

I've never worked on amps before, but I work industrial maintenance, and frequently have to test around 480VAC/3-phase safely. I think I could figure out the testing and troubleshooting, though probably with lots of fuck-ups and help from cool people.

Part of me thinks it would be great to buy a used Fender, but there's a part of me that wants something unique and doesn't mind spending a little extra because it would be me building it. Champs are ok, but not my usual thing from the videos I've heard. I think the Pro Junior sounds good too, but I think a Princeton/Princeton Reverb is where I'm looking. For 15W, it could keep up with my Peavey Delta Blues or Marshall Origin 20C nicely. I have ideas for mods too, but I don't know if some are viable. For instance, the 3-way wattage switch (power-scaling?) on the Marshall Origin is amazing. I also really love the sound of Maggie's Secret Agent, which was intended to be the best of Fender from the 50's/60's. I've got one of the RCA tube manuals that has all the circuit diagrams and schematics in them, so I could build whatever, I just haven't gotten to it yet

i Don't have the blocks and my Tools for is broken then need lot of works to make blocks(i prefer them on gibson ,on fender i find it too much ,but i love dot and binding )

more over this headstock is really big then without it is a plank to cut sausage
i have to made the Template for it but iam hesitate between Under table router ,or router in hands for it , the Under table is more stable but i must do it before makin my fretboard radius?my U system is too much imprecise with lot of gap ect …

Stick the template on the headstock and make a "bridge" for the router.
Two pieces of wood a little higher then headstock+template combo connected with clear plexi board.
Screw the router on the plexi so you can see what are you doing...that is how I did it.

That body looks amazing. So dark looking. Is it original or based on something else? Want to make one similar but maybe with a different headstock, feel it needs something more wicked, maybe 4+2 or 3+3 tuners.

It's a Fender Custom/Maverick body shape. It was a strange and rare guitar that was made out of unsold Fender XIIs.

Screw the router on the plexi so you can see what are you doing...that is how I did it.

thanks for the tips ,will try this Week end ,cause i work in the Morning this Week and i am not in good state to works on the guitar without making some mistake cause i have not my count of night sleep this days
