I didn’t measure closely, but I’d estimate between 3/8 - 1/2”.
I could be wrong that it would actually work, but if it's just 3/8"-1/2" closer to the neck, I don't see why you couldn't just get longer screws. If it's further from the neck, I'm not sure at that point...

The other thing you could consider if it doesn't work out, is to sell the neck, and just get a Warmoth Mooncaster neck in the correct scale. I do think that that head shape would look killer on a Strat!

Got my baritone slapped together.
-Previously posted Warmoth showcase baritone neck.
-New Gotoh tuners & Tusq nut
-Squier VM Charcoal Frost Metallic Strat body
-GFS Shorty trem block & new Stainless block saddles
-Parchment plastics w/ reverse angled bridge pu
-Bootstrap 54 Vintage Sparkle A3 Strat pickup set.

I wired it up with 500k pots to retain some of the brightness and put the middle and bridge on their own tone knobs. The neck pickup is wide open (no tone cut) and there is a neck on/off switch for neck/bridge combos.

It still needs the nut glued in and some setup work done, but I just played it for an hour and am in love.

How much longer? If it's less than an inch, you could theoretically get longer screws for saddle intonation, and just extend them. If you don't ever use the tremolo, you could do that if it's further than an inch...
The back of the saddle/screw would end up covering the string holes, the screws on these bridges are as long as they can be without modification of the bridge.

It looks like the end of the heel is radiused while your neck pocket is square which keeps the neck from seating as far forward (towards the bridge) as it is supposed to. You can either cut the end of the heel square, or radius the end of the neck pocket, not the best for resale on either though. The bridge may be able to be nudged abit forward if you fill and redrill the holes, you will not get an 1/2", but you may be able to get enough without impeding the trems function or showing the cavity at the back of the bridge. Really need to mount the neck and take some measurements to know the best way to proceed though, it is just guessing at this point.

It's been in the back of my mind that this neck may end up on my VMJM after i get my dream jazzmaster build completed. In the mean time though, this setup is still a lot of fun.

A couple small things...

Finished a drum stuck holder for a guy on Reverb. He bought the other one I sold awhile back, and then proceeded to fuck it up by trying to enlarge the holes with a drill bit and not a reamer :fp: Then started bitching that "buying it was a mistake". Anywho. Medium story short, I offered to make him a new one that he would pay for, but I (dumbly) offered to cut him a little discount. This was the result:

Single row of 20 holes (instead of side-by-side pairs) since he was wanting it to display autographed sticks instead of pairs like a drummer would likely want. For quick work that I didn't exactly care too much about (he was a dick about it too), I thought it came out pretty good.

I also started getting some work done on my garage shelving. I had both framed in last weekend, but as of this past Friday, got a few separate horizontal boards in for stuff. I'm doing it so certain tools or materials all have specific spaces. I had two separate pictures for this, but realizing that OSG would show them top and bottom, I just took a screenshot of them side-by-side and made a new picture:

Here's a close-up of the north wall. I made a spot for 10 of the Sortimo boxes (REALLY love these things so far), as well as a few other things including my tap and die set, and my jig saw. The black cases in the middle are only there for right now until I get the contents transferred over to the Sortimos. I'm planning on making some 12"x24"x12" plywood crates for all my smaller wood chunks, and they'll likely go on the bottom in two columns. The best part is that nothing is screwed into the walls, so I won't have any holes to patch when I move out!!

I love the drumstick holder! I'm totally going to make one of those for my drummer.

Thanks dude! It was super simple to make. Just make sure to get the diameter of his/her biggest stick and use that size for the holes. When I sold that jerk the first one, half of his didn't fit, but he had metal drummer sticks which were literally like 5/8" in diameter.

That will be a super slick setup. It's so much easier to keep things neat when stuff has a home.

Oh fuck yes. I love organization like that. What I'm planning is 2 islands in the dead middle, both with casters, so I can still change oil and work on my truck if I need to.

The island/cat closest to the garage door will be just a general shop table, and the one closer to the apartment will be a cart for my router, ROSS sander, and planing jig for the router.

My favorite part is still in the works, but I'm not gonna say what it is just yet, because it's pretty clever. Pictures will do that one better than explanations ;)

Thanks dude ;D I've spent the last few years taking an hour plus before I make a single cut, dragging saws up and down stairs. I've had a lot of time to think about what I want, and my keyword is: modular.
