That looks fantastic Nik!!! Those plates are perfect. Are they all pickguard material/plastic, or painted metal plates?

Damn that was quick!
I love, uh, everything about it. That headstock scroll perfects the overall 1960's 'now we go to space' vibe. The reverse butt makes the whole guitar quirkier and more dynamic. Perfect choice of colors and shapes. Really well done :) :?

Side binding done (for now). Looks ok from a distance- I call it my Unconvincing Zebra design, might abandon it in favour of a more Disappointing Giraffe look ;D

Oh my god, that thing looks like it was vandalized by Elvis, and I say that in the most complimentary possible way.

Yeah it has jumped the shark a bit. The fingerboard inlays were the product of the Bauhaus Las Vegas campus, and it all just went downhill from there.

Outstanding, I love the interior construction as much as the skin! The neck is so visually musical.

Has anyone here ever completely finished the Toronado Deluxe w / Jazzmaster bridge and tremolo mod? I'd really like to give it a shot with mine (along with adding a couple of HB sized JM pickups). My biggest issue is finding someone around this area to do the mods for me; I might be able to swap in the pickups, but there's no way I could accurately and correctly install a JM bridge and tremolo on this thing, lol. I live in central Alabama. Anyone know of anyone good?
