It's been a while! Here's what's next up on my set up bench. Almost all dialed in. Just need to finish the nut and get some pickup springs in there to bring the PUs closer to the strings where they need to be.

That is amazing :w00t: :? :? :?

Thanks :)
Its Duesenberg multibender, need new nut for that one as the action was super low and it does not work very well with slide

Made non-rocking thimbles, i was going to use tune-matic since i had spare one but neck would need too much shimming.
Had drilled already 12mm holes to body too
And if someone notices, i made holes offset for a reason.

good call on the offset holes! a good carpenter isn’t one who doesn’t make mistakes but is good at covering them up.

Hey!

It's been a few years OSG. Hope everyone is doing well! Missed you guys.

I've had more than a few things on my workbench in the last few years, but here's the most recent guitars to soon be finished. I'm sure I'll make an update thread here soon. If you're on instagram, you can also check my workbench out @widdershins_guitars now as well.

Thanks for the kind words guys, proud of these prototypes after a lot of design experiments.

I tried everything to get that black grain look I wanted, with the control I needed to not spill out over the binding, or mistakenly stain any part of the exposed grain in the process.

I tested India Ink, Black stains, my own home made ebonizing solution, but in the end the finish that worked best was a 2:1 ratio mixture of black acrylic paint and water.
