adding a decal to my lefty CIJ Jag

Post by BlixaFan » Wed Mar 21, 2007 10:36 pm

hey guys,
ive been thinking of picking up a Jaguar repro decal, (although no specific year or time period) for my CIJ lefty Jag. I find the lack of the Jaguar decal on it makes it look bare. id somehow have to make it fit though, and im not sure if the decal would fit or not.
has anyone here done this before?
i guess if i got one with the yellowed backing, maybe i wouldnt even have to remove the old decal if it got covered by the new one, and just spray over with a thin layer to keep it in place.
any suggestions?

thanks!  :) and sorry if i sound unclear...pretty tired here!

I know what you mean about the decal. Seems silly not to have the full thing. I doubt putting another decal on top would look ok. I'm pretty sure you'd have to remove the whole finish really.

I might refinish my JM with nitro in the future and use a full decal.
