That is super-cool! The long neck on a Jag-style body looks weird and unbalanced though

Ok, so I got some parts from GRP, and they where all there!!
I gathered what I could use from previous projects and this is what I'll start with:

And this is the WD PG with AVRI pickups and black covers. I have a hard time with the PG as the holes for the rythm circuit are oval instead of squares

Also with the feel of the vintage neck and body I might be patience and seach for vintage electronics as well... The covers will be sanded gently so they don't look so shiney.

That's pants how the WD guard has those oval holes. I've been through the exact same experience. The one I bought was custom cut for WRHPs, and they told me they can't use the automated program for custom cut guards. So I was wondering if the oval cutouts were a result of not using the automated machine. But your guard looks like a regular JM guard.... so I guess ALL the WD guards are like that. That's good to know....

I love a whole mess of parts in baggies on the table.... looks like fun!

I got the body today! Need some work but not anything major. It came with a "Leo Quan Badass" as you can see my the pictures. It's a gonner.

Looks like the body was sunburst from fender but repainted white and then stripped. The yellow stain is probably just nitro laquer yellowing of age.

I'm still not sure witch color I'll go with. I need to prep it first, take up the old bridge mount holes and so on... I still have time to decide.
Another idea I've got is to use the upper and lower control plates for Jaguar since I don't like the way WD cut them out.
Well that's it for now...

Ok, I've made up my mind. I'm going to re-finish the natural body in Shoreline gold, switch places with my black body, and with the gold guard from Fullerplast my family will look like this: (from the dressing room)
