Hey guys, I swapped the strat neck for a CIJ Jazzmaster neck and it's a whole new world: I love the profile and.. I don't really know why but it seems to sound better.. :)

This must be a before-my-time thread, but FANTASTIC! Thanks for bumping it back to the top so newer people can see it.
I finally finish building a guitar, go to play it, and then remember, "oh yeah, that's right. I suck at playing... Why did I build another guitar again?"

Holy shit this is the best guitar I've ever seen.

The tone is just amazing.

How much does a steel JM cost? I have to get one. D8 Time to save up.

Yea that thing is seriously awesome. If Lee Ranaldo saw that thing, I don't think he could resist it.

I think what I would want to do would be pretty expensive. It would actualy be similar to yours.

It's actually custom made so it depends on the options you want but i think a standard JM is 1790 Euros (about $2700 with today change rate)... but beware, everybody who orders one orders another one !
I did... still have to create a thread about it..

I bet he saw it.. My video is in the top results if you type Jazzmaster but... well... he's got some free Jazzmasters from Fender now..
Too bad because I'm pretty sure that as it is now with the Powertrons, my steelblaster blows his Jazzblasters with vintage wide ranges... :P

The $ to Euros change makes it expensive (you may save money if you change it directly into Mexican Pesos ?) but it's actually only 300 euros more than the price of an US Jazzmaster sold in France. :derp:

Nope, dollars rape mxp, euro destroys mxp.

I'm fucked either way.

Well that and I'm not particularly rich and I only have a third world job.
