I made thread about it, but I think it deserves to be mentioned here too:

dguitarparts have started to carry Allparts Jaguar replacement necks - and to an affordable cost too. ($122 at the moment)

I don't know where in Europe you are, but check your national Allparts distributor if there is one (or one in another EU country). Allparts.nl has them, at any rate: http://www.guitar-parts.nl/index.php?p= ... jazzmaster" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You may want to check if that's the correct size, though... they're probably metric, i.e., may fit on MIJ reissues but not necessarily on one with US specs.

There's this one: http://www.guitar-parts.nl/index.php?p= ... 8&parent=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And this one: http://www.guitar-parts.nl/index.php?p= ... 1&parent=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The site doesn't specify it, but my guess is one is for metric shafts and the other for imperial.

Rondo are selling 30" Jazz Bass Necks for only $30. Perhaps you could plug the tuners and replace the nut and use as a cheap neck for a Bass VI project?

http://www.jlguitars.com/jazzmasterpickups.htm
For European offseters, there is a great adress for hand Wounds Pickups for Jazzmaster or other guitars, it's in Spain.

Jess Loureiro:
"I began to make guitar pickups for almost 10 years ago, driven by inquietude to know the intricacies of the sound produced by electric guitars, instruments that have always fascinated me. I first started to manufacturate pickups for my instruments, then for friends and at the end to friends of friends, which lead me to devote myself to it for longer and extend the range of customers.

I try to add something new to the pickups market, offering boutique pickups at competitive prices, so you don´t need to spend a fortune to get the sound you always wanted to get out of your guitar.

I offer the greatest possible guarantee for your purchase, if you´re not satisfied, you can return the pickup/s, with subsequent repayment in full of the value of the pickup/s (cost of the retun shipping by the buyer). I also offer a manufacturers warranty of two years.

Despite my short time on the market, I have a lot of satisfied customers, both within Spain and Europe (Scotland, Holland, France, etc) as you can see in my ebay Feedback:
http://feedback.ebay.es/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... ckAsSeller

I offer personalized service, feel free to contact me with any questions."

Great quality, great prices.
You should add this site to the list.
Take care the skons is evrywhere !

Where can I find nitro lacquer in Belgium or from a company that ships to belgium?
Prefarably in spraycans, since I don't have a spray-gun and compressor.
The tone-tech supplies, (http://www.tonetechluthiersupplies.co.u ... ducts.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
earlier mentioned, don't ship outside the U.K.

If you're looking for nitro cellulose lacquer as a clear coat I recommend "Clou Spraymat Nitro-Lack"... Here's an ebay seller who ships to Belgium I think:

"seidenmatt" means semi-glossy btw.

Does anyone know what's happened to Darren Riley's online store?

http://www.darrenriley.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I get 403 errors (forbidden) when trying to visit, and have done for several days.

Hi there,

i have a question for Jazzmaster offsetters.

I ordered a Jazzmaster kit at MJT guitar finishes, and i'm looking for wiring kits that fits the wildwood body cavities and allparts pickguard.

As seen here (http://www.acmeguitarworks.com/Wiring-K ... P1149.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), there might be a problem with this kit and offset guitar kits
Please note: these components are for the U.S. Jazzmasters, both original and reissues. If you have a Japanese reissue, the mini-pots may not fit your roller knobs correctly. Additionally, you will probably need to enlarge the holes for the jack and the other pots, as the threaded bushings on the American components are typically larger in diameter than those on the imported components.
So i'm asking people who allready have put together jazzmaster kits, if they had any problem with wiring kits, and which one will fit a MJT Body and allparts pickguard.

Thanks a lot

Rayon

What the...weird.

Does anyone else get a 403 returned, or is it just me?
