Replacing shielding to reduce weight

I'm gonna go ahead and agree with some previous posters that your very best option is probably to have a new body built specifically to be the lightest it can be. I think with swimming pool routing and picking the right kind of wood you could lose possibly close to a kilo and keep the AVRI body stock. Those things are getting expensive, so the gain of not messing with it might one day cover the costs of having a new body made.
