Recs for a good sounding HB for a single HB guitar

Hey Gang,
Still loving my new Gordon Smith GS1 playability wise, but I'm finding the stock pickup it comes with a bit weak compared to the Duncan '59 that I have in my SBG. I could feasibly grab another one of those, but I'm sensing the GS1 might need something with a bit more beef in the low end to bring their sounds closer together.
Any recs for a solid single HB that with power and bite that cleans up well? I've mostly used Dimarzios so I was thinking of trying out a Super D finally or something else in their range, i.e. Norton, Transition, etc.

Super D. It's exactly what you want (and need). Literally 2 P90s strapped together like a supercharger in top of a V8.

Agree.
I recently remembered that I have an old one and i''m thinking about building a guitar just for it.

There’s gotta be a reason why Pat hoards them, right?

Damn. That's a lot of endorsement for the Super D right there. Maybe it's time then...

I've been toying with sticking one in my Guild S-60. I don't have a guitar with a classic humbucker in and a SD is likely what will go in.

Nicke Andersson agrees:
I don't think he had a SD in his GS1 back in the day though:

Yeah he makes some awesome guitars. We gigged with ex-Entombed drummer Peter Stjärnvind’s band a while back (and have another gig booked in a few weeks), and he has a couple of Berg guitars as well (a Crestwood Custom and a 335), they are works of art.
Another suggestion for a single bridge humbucker:
GCI Slugjammer
I just installed a set of these in one of my band mates’ guitar, and I really liked them. The bridge pup had a lot of power and bite, and cleaned up beautifully when rolling down the volume. Plus they look really cool IMO.
Edit: Oh, just noticed they’re sold out
