Fancy Allparts Replacement Jazzmaster Necks
So I'm sure some of you (who dabble in guitar projects) have received an email from Allparts about their new deluxe necks. It is great to see all the fancy options-- but not the fancy guitar neck prices for the tricked-out roasted B&B ones.

That's very interesting, and different than what I first (mis)understood. I think they've got a pretty good handle on their market opportunities, so I'll be intrigued to see how this plays out.

Iiiiiiiiiinterestingly enough the dealer cost of those isn't the same percentage off MSRP as the rest of their stuff.

That whole Allparts 'dealer' thing is a bit suspect to me, so it's no surprise that they a basically acknowledging it.

Well, technically I'm an AllParts dealer, although I do have to update my tax information (and I can't find the documentation due to four subsequent moves so I have to contact the IRS). Typically I consider the AllParts website's price that you get without a dealer login to be MSRP so you should expect 25% to 30% off, just like Fender's MAP pricing used to be 30% of MSRP (before they got rid of MSRP and just list MAP/street).
