Michael Slotboom of Armadillo Guitar can machine your saddles for you.

Cheers!
I bought some brass Westone repro knobs from him. He was very pleasant to deal with.

Really cool project.

Thirded. I've mainly bought the metal knobs for fender style blade switches and some other bits and bobs, but it's all really good.
Jazzmaster project (got a body, placeholder neck, some pickups and ideas)
Tokai Telecaster Thinline with Creamery Pickups Filtertron and Tapped Tele
Blake Mills-inspired Strat project w/ Gold Foil and slide pickup

Did you or someone you know cut that body? I'm looking for someone who can make one spec'd to the original bridge like the one you have there. :)

I remember there was an amazing post on the forum where someone documented all the barrel sizes. It looked really useful.
This is the first body I did:

But that nasty knotty spot bothered me, so I did another one:

MOTO control plate is there just to cover lower cavity for the pic :)

Apologies for hijacking the thread.

Is the idea that each 3-way switch selects N/N+B/B for the bass-side or treble -side respectively? Because I made a Jaywalker like that!!

I am, unequivocally the biggest Beach Boys fan on this site. A Beach Boys historian, fanatic, lunatic, etc. I have been meaning to tackle this for quite some time. It's on my list of to-do's. After this electric nylon string strat and gen1 bass VI, though. I am super interested in how this turns out. With these Mustang style controls - will it offer different sounds than a typical OG Fender XII?

I'm guessing you're a pretty big Beach Boys fan, also?

I like the Beach Boys but my facination with this guitar is more to do with its significance in fender history, Basically the original XII design.
Plus the air of mystery about it!
I can find little info/spec and only a handfull of grainy pics.
As for the wiring, found these...

Not decided on wiring yet but it will deffo at least have same as Orig XII..
Anyone got a cool mustang mod diagram for me?
