First build completed!

Post by kenrothman » Thu Sep 17, 2020 5:59 am

Just finished my first build!

It's an MJT body in charcoal frost
Musickraft neck
Antiquity 1 pickups
mastery bridge
avri trem
various and sundry other parts

so far so good!

I'm already slightly regretting using the AVRI trem vs going for the mastery.
Trying to control costs, but the arm movement is a little "crunchy" for lack of a better term.
And getting some interaction between the low E and the screw head :(

That's a damn shame, you went to the trouble to build a new guitar and it's already all scuffed up.. ;)

Somebody here knows how to get the vibrato working more smoothly. Not me. Somebody does, though. Maybe describe the problem in more detail.
