Mustang Body with Tele Routing - Any Help?
I'm looking to build a Mustang/Tele hybrid. I'd like a Mustang body with Telecaster routing, keeping the pickup selector switch on the control plate like a Tele. I prefer the input jack routed on the side, like a Tele. Also wanting to keep the 24" scale length.
Any ideas on where to source the body? Unfinished is fine. Warmoth suggested ordering a Mustang body from them without any routing, then finding someone to route the cavities. Also not sure where to turn for that.
Thanks for any suggestions!

I suspect Tele routing templates are easy to find, but the thing that jumps to the front of my mind (and you may already have considered) is that Mustangs and Teles are different scale lengths, so adjust for that when you rout it!

How set are you on having a telecaster bridge with the bridge plate surrounding the pickup?
I ask because a cutoff top-mount telecaster bridge can screw to any unrouted body. Then, fitting the pickups is easy as they can be pickguard-mounted.
I was considering doing this to a Bullet Mustang body because they're swimming pool-routed. Just pull off the strat bridge and stick on a cutoff Tele bridge, and get a pickguard made for Telecaster pickups.
Of course, this may not be what you're after, in which case I'd get the unrouted body and find a local shop that can rout it for you.

Shoot, I'd just buy that one except it's 25.5" scale. It's basically exactly what I'm going for.

Then the guitar mentioned by YALCaster from Rosenow Guitars is what you want, 24 inch scale

That orange drop mustang hybrid is gorgeous. It's not a 24" scale but could you live with one of those with a 24-1/2" conversion neck?
