Help with 1st wiring mod! HH Jazzmaster with volume only

Post by matarroano » Wed Aug 21, 2019 3:31 am

HI!

Can you guys give me some pointers and advice as I'm about to do my 1st wiring mod? I'm ditching the tone circuit of my Modern Player HH Jazzmaster. 3-way switch and volume only from now onwards ...

Any good schematic I can follow? How-to's and videos I should look at? Anything else?

Any and all input and feedback is very much welcomed!

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Daniel

I'm not sure that I've seen a wiring diagram for the MP JM. But if it's the same as the similar-spec American Special you could literally just cut the tone control out and you'd be good to go ....

Ok timtam! Thanks... The American Special, hein? I might look into it... Thanks.

I do realize I posted this in the wrong section. I'm going to try and delete and make it right. Sorry guys!
