I'm going to refinish my KC Jaguar that's currently a 3TS into Ice Blue Metallic.
I've ALWAYS wanted that color and i think it will compliment my Black/Spitfire Jazzmaster.

But i'm looking at options for pickguards.
I plan on replacing the cream DiMarzio pickups with some chrome shawbuckers from a Tele Deluxe Pro.
SO... lots of chrome.

what do you think?

Of your choices, white or black would work equally. I would probably put white pearl on it myself.

If it's a road worn , I would sell the body and buy a natural one and have that refinished and buy a pickguard with the profits. (white pearl would get my vote too.)

If you're truly concerned about meeting the majority expectation of a bunch of internet strangers, you should probably add Spitfire tort to the list and place your order now. I hear there's a bit of a waiting period...

Well, there you go. That sounds like a good choice.

I had a cream pickguard on my IBM Jm. I thought that looked the best.

Mint green would be my choice to stay out of the spitfire mega bucks

How is mint not in the choices? That's the most classy combo for IBM. Parchment - to my eyes anyway - is another word for "still way too white". A picture of IBM+mint for reference:

Note: mint has a tendency to look garish/comical from 3rd party vendors. Always worth buying genuine Fender if you go for mint.

My original 66 IBM has parchment. I guess it was white once. I know I'm a bit geeky, but mint would be wrong, having been discontinued before IBM was introduced. Personally I hate pearl.

Parchment gets my vote.
