Sharing a Poplar Build -- Jazzmaster content

.

It's been a slow build but it's mostly finished now. Still some work on the rhythm circuit (3Dprint some knobs, switch on order).
Poplar cap over reclaimed pine, was going to be a first test cut expecting the usual surprises but it went quite well so I continued the build with this one.
A little too aggressive post edge routing, next time I'll use a smaller round over.

Wipe-on poly clear coat to let the poplar green tint through because with the hardboard pickguard the color scheme reminded me of those classic canvas and leather messenger bags. The poplar green will turn brown eventually, will be interesting to see how long that takes.

Man that roundover looks more like a German carve! ;D
Looks like a fun build! What does the back look like?!
