Neck Swap and Fingerboard Radius
I currently have a CP JM with a 9.5 fingerboard radius and med jumbo frets. I’ve also got the masterey bridge on this guitar. I really like the block inlays on the 60th anniversary necks and I think I would prefer the narrow tall frets. I’ve seen some necks on reverb with the 7.25 radius but the fender website has these necks listed as 9.5.? I’m trying to figure out the actual fingerboard radius for these and if it would be a simple drop right in swap. Thanks everyone

The Mastery bridge can be adjusted for radius, but other than tweaking that and whatever other minor setup tweaks mignt be needed, yes.

There are three 60th anniv JMs ....

The MIM 60th Anniv Classic has a 9.5" pau ferro board, block inlays and 'narrow tall' frets. The MIA 60th Anniv '58 has a 7.25" rosewood board, dot inlays and 'vintage tall' frets. The 60th Anniv Triple has a 9.5" rosewood board, dot inlays, and 'narrow tall' frets.

So this discription on reverb must be incorrect?

It appears so. The serial number checks out as the red MIM Classic, which is 9.5.Azentzvox wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 5:45 pmSo this discription on reverb must be incorrect?

Maybe they are confused with the classic 60s lacquer, which is 7.25 PF.
