hi everyone
I built my first Jazzmaster using parts, and now I just can't decide which pickups to choose between SD Antiquity I and Antiquity II.
I guess I'm more oriented towards Antiquity II for their popularity, but I have some doubts since I really like a mellow/jazzy tone, like Nels Cline for example, and I don't need my Jazzmaster to be acid and rough. Also my amp is a Vox AC30.
So what do you think about Antiquity I on the bridge, and Antiquity II on the neck?
would they be balanced when used in the middle position?
another thing I've read is that someone uses 250K pots instead of 1M pots to tame highs.
Are they talking about volume pots only, or also tone pots?
