hello friends, I have successfully made the typical mod series-parallel in my fender jaguar. I recently purchased a P90 pickup in single coil format to install on the bridge and now I am faced with the problem that I do not know how to wire it. In the mod, we must isolate the claw and connect it in the back pot of vol.
I do not know what to do with this pill that already has three wires.
This has a a third cable screwed into the back. I don't know what to do with this wire, ¿weld it in the back of the pot of vol?
Can you help me? . Thanks friends.

Re: Jaguar Series-Parallel P90 wiring
Are you saying that your new pickup has 3 wires?
If a pickup has a metal base or claw you must connect this metal to ground. So if your pickup has a 3rd wire screwed or soldered to the metal, you just connect that wire to ground. Back of a pot or a plate, whatever. Something that is already connected to ground. Volume pot is a common choice.
The other 2 wires are for the pickup signal.

.
Get an ohm meter and measure all three wires. Probably a case ground and then the bobbin start and end.
If you don't have an ohm meter already, find a Harbor Freight nearby and a 20% coupon online and there you go.
