Thanks! The Morgan is basically done. I need to put strings on, but I did the decal today and I want it to dry overnight first.

The Meteora is FINISHED! I am really happy with this one. It looks so awesome. I am pretty proud with how it turned out. Better than I imagined.

Damn, you're on a roll! Nothing like a late-sumer project completion spree
I'm not usually a big fan of black hardware on white, but that Meteora looks pretty damn perfect, much better than the original.
Same thing with the Shaun Morgan, the six-a-side headstock makes the design a lot slicker, almost taking it into surf-guitar territory.

And what the hell is this drying next to the Meteora?

I missed that thread the first time around, very, very cool stuff indeed. Made me want to build one, I love those retrofuturistic artefacts from the 80s.
Much too late for this, but looking at the neck made me think - I've had good results with steel wool & vinegar applied to maple, it really turns the gold of maple into silvery grays. I'm pretty sure James Trussart uses that process on some of his necks to blend them in with the metal aesthetics. Could be something for another crazy-ass build in the future
