I'm looking for an opinion mostly on looks. How do you guys feel about this?
I'm planning to make the additional slider switch a phase switch. I'm on the fence whether I think it needs the bottom plate, but at the same time I have two other traditional jags and didn't want to make this just another one.

If they're routed like the JM Special bodies, you might need to shave off a little bit on the rhythm circuit for that to work.
Othwerwise, looks cool to me.

Thanks, man. Yeah I figured it could take some routing. I got the custom plate and I'm going for it.valley_parade wrote: ↑Thu Nov 08, 2018 5:57 amIf they're routed like the JM Special bodies, you might need to shave off a little bit on the rhythm circuit for that to work.

Meh. It looks very unbalanced to be honest.

Yeah I'm still on the fence about the balance... but I reckon having the bottom plate added would be a lot of chrome together with the knobs and also the plate would kind of join that bridge, I'm afraid could be too much. Also when I did a mock up I thought that with both plates I was missing the other control plate from the jag LOL so I don't know.
I'll go ahead and do this for now, and if I'm bothered by it, I can always add the other plate later.

Hey guys, I ended up doing it, I really liked the end result. I like how the chrome knobs, in my mind, helped balance the design: on the bottom you have the knobs and on the top you have the plate.

Make the bortom part of the pickguard swoop down in a drop like shape and put a normal jag input jack there.
