Neck came and fit the neck pocket great! Super excited. (I hate having to sand neck pockets to get a neck to fit.....)

I just need to tint the neck and then I can wipe poly on. :)

Started dying the necks today. I used Stew Mac's amber dye. I put it in rubbing alcohol and wiped it on the necks after taping off the rosewood. Makes quite a change.

The lower one in this pic is for this project. It has one coat of wipe on poly so far. It darkened it a little which is good. Looking more like it should. :D

The neck finish is coming out great!

Thanks! My first time with tinting necks. Usually I just get finished necks or repurpose Squier necks that have a finish already.

FYI Yeah you do have to drill to get the toggle to fit. (1/2" hole.) I saw stuff online with pictures but none of them mentioned drilling the plate. Kinda a no duh I guess. Can't stick the toggle through the little square hole. :D
You could have used a mini toggle, those fit without a hassle! :)

Body is all wired up. It works really well as far as I can tell. The two switches turn each pickup on and off like a jag and the toggle works as a selector. If I turn one pickup off, I can do kill switch effects with the toggle. Upper switch area is standard.

Cool song! It looks like he has dual rails? I almost gave that a go, but happened to find a lil 59 cheap and I like that neck pickup sound. :)

All done! The small humbuckers sound great! I like the neck humbucker through the jazz circuit.
