Assembly will go quick since the wiring is done and the neck is ready. I'll work on applying shielding paint over the next few days and start popping the rest into place this weekend.

Looks just right next to those two. Dark enough green to be properly different but not so dark it looks black, and not light enough to look washed out like some renditions of Sherwood end up being. All three colours look great.

Everything is put together. I still need to fine tune the nut slots and glue the nut in. I'm also still waiting on the strap I've purchased for this.

I'll get some nicer pics up in the coming weeks, and do an official wrap up. In the mean time, I'll be breaking in this guitar. Here's two quick shots for now:

It's been a few weeks and I'm absolutely loving this guitar. The neck is perfect.
I'm still planning to get some nice photos soon, but I thought I'd take some family photos in the meantime.

Hmm. This is a problem. I don't have a proper violet. I have fuschia (red-violet), and a CV60s strat whose BMM looks more like lavender, but no real violet. I guess I need to remedy that.

Something like this would fill that hole well


I'll make this happen in the next few years. I'll do the neck with the same specs and materials (except for the scale) and get a nice metallic violet finish and make a "matching" ideal jaguar for myself.
