Alternate Single Coils For A Bass VI
So, I've had it in my head forever, that I'd just be using Jag pickups in my upcoming VI project. I was wondering mostly if anyone has ever tried a Tele neck pickup, or other iterations of single coils beyond Jag pickups?

An AVRI62 JM bridge is pretty great, did not care for the neck though.
Logic gates based on billiard-ball computer designs have also been made to operate using live soldier crabs of the species Mictyris guinotae in place of the billiard balls.

I have a Douglas baritone from Rondo music that I redid with humbucker shaped P90s at the ends and a G&L MFD tele neck pickup in the middle. That MFD sounds awesome and thunders just as loud as the P90s . They are very ballsy and would doubtless work great on a Bass VI. Not that it would have to be that particular type; a regular Strat sized MFD would work too. If you don't have experience with MFDs, you should really give them a shot. Leo's final pickup design, after all. And they're cheap!

Sorry, I should've specified. I'm only asking about middle and neck positions. Bridge will be a P-90. I'd definitely prefer a Strat or Tele-sized single coil, but P-90 or Mini-humbucker-sized at the biggest.
Also, Horsefeather, that baritone is gorgeous!
